Jane Boddy

Born and raised in Birmingham England, Jane is a graduate of the Birmingham College of Food and Domestic Arts, with a National Diploma in Hotel Keeping and Catering.

Jane immigrated to Canada early in her career and worked in operations and sales in various hotels in Victoria, Toronto and Vancouver before embarking on a career with boats at the Westin Bayshore Yacht Charters as yacht charter & marina manager.

Jane fell in love with the water and the excitement surrounding it. In July of 2001 Jane and her long time friend, Pat Miller decided to start their own yacht charter business, Fairweather Cruises & Events.

Jane’s passions are her family and making people happy, she loves to be of service. Clients find Jane a pleasure to work with as she displays unfailing optimism, attention to detail and commitment to delivering the best to each and every client.

Pat Miller

Born in a small seaside town in Ireland and raised in Vancouver, Pat is passionate about the water and believes the only way to truly appreciate the fabulous scenery and the ever evolving landscape of Vancouver is by boat.

Pat has spent most of her career in the hospitality business working for Westin Hotels in operations and sales. She began her career in yacht charters as the Sales Manager for the Westin Bayshore Marina.

Twenty-two years ago Pat and Jane created Fairweather Cruises and Events in order to offer their clients more boat options. Over the years they have organized charters for all size of groups, some up to 1000 delegates.

Pat has endeared herself to many clients with her enthusiasm and desire to provide them all with a great experience.
